The PV-GenSet-Battery Smart Grid Control System 2.0 is designed and developed independently by Sino Soar R&D department. In November 2019, the upgrading of the system was completed. This upgrading was conducted in an inhabited island, the project integrated 130kW PV installed capacity, 100kW/95.2kWh battery installed capacity, one set of 140kW generator, one set of 160kW generator set, and one set of 95kW generator. The project applied Sino Soar self-developed Energy Management System (EMS), and it could operate with multi-mode seamless switching to control the hybrid grid in a stable and economic way.
The significance of this upgrading is to shorten the time of site commissioning from 25 days to 5 days. This will forge a solid basis for the large-scale application of Sino Soar solar hybrid solutions.
Sino Soar is devoted to the solar hybrid application in island countries. The hybrid technology could provide stable and continuous power for these remote isolated islands, and minimize the fuel consumption to conserve energy and reduce emissions.
