The smart energy management project
On July 23, 2024, Sino Soar Hybrid (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. successfully won the 20 islands PCMS project in the Maldives and held the contract signing ceremony on July 25.
SINOSOAR has extensive experience in constructing renewable hybrid system projects in remote and island areas. The 20 islands project marks the sixth hybrid system project undertaken by SINOSOAR in the Maldives. To date, SINOSOAR’s projects have covered 134 islands in the Maldives, benefiting over 200,000 people. Through years of practical experience, SINOSOAR has established a comprehensive project management system and technical support network, enabling efficient responses to various complex engineering challenges.
The smart energy management project will feature SINOSOAR’s independently developed Energy Management System. These include a smart energy system capable of real-time control and management of various energy modules, a cloud management platform for remote monitoring of operations, real-time monitoring of power system status, and timely detection and handling of potential faults and anomalies. These systems ensure the reliability and continuity of the power supply and the safe operation of island power systems under various complex conditions. Smart energy management integrates the islands’ traditional diesel generation systems with new energy systems. Through intelligent scheduling and control, it achieves multi-energy complementarity and efficient, green operation.
